Roop’s growth over the years has been solidified by it’s increasing share of business with all current customers.

With most of our customers, Roop is a strategic business partner hence increasing revenues across each of them.

A key metrix of our growth is a continuous increase in our global foot print.

Roop’s initiative towards increasing global footprint has been towards serving it’s same end customers in USA, Europe and Brazil besides India by positioning it’s people in these regions. This has enabled us to serve global platforms as a single supplier, which is something that is of great value to the customer, as it eliminates/ reduces the need of multiple approvals for different supplier in different regions. This has tremendous future profitability improvement potential as tier I customers will find it very convenient to source from us as Roop is approved on major global platforms. This reduces their management costs.

 

The trust factor built over the years with each of these customers also ensures that time taken from RFQ response to sample making to commercial production is minimum for all existing product segments.

For Roop, this has resulted in becoming a Strategic Supplier and hence acts as an easy point of entry/ introduction in new geography where the end customer exists or wants to venture in.

  • Business Achievements

    Roop has consistently won Quality Circle awards in the country which have been organized by the Quality Circle federation of India (QCFI). Our focus on being the best supplier for all our customers has been reflected in the Best Supplier rating by most of them over years.

  • Operational Excellence

    Each plant of Roop Auto is managed by an independent team headed by a Plant Head whose aim is not to look at profits but cost control in every aspect of operations. This gives us a unique environment wherein plants are not involved in unhealthy competition but a healthy environment of learning from each other aimed at the horizontal deployment of ideas. At the grass-root level or shop floor level, Roop’s Idea/ kaizen scheme has been instrumental in looking at low-cost improvements that are fully owned by people on the shop floor. This leads to motivation, increased ownership and higher morales for one and all.

  • Cross Functional Team

    Actively participate in Focus Group activities where cross-functional problems are discussed and actions are taken hence forth. This has resulted in savings in Dead Stock, Improvements in plant visualization and Speeding up of Green initiatives like Say to Plastic and Water Conservation projects.

  • Product/Service – Quality innovation

    Roop has a government recognized R&D Lab which not only does in house improvements in product development but also has been instrumental in value addition to all customers.

  • Digital / Advanced Technology Adoption

    We make as per customer drawings hence work with strict specifications. Having said the above, the company has been ensuring that all raw material improvements happen have never been ignored.

  • Growth Strategies

    Roop has always believed in customer satisfaction as its main focus area. This belief has resulted in both increased market share with all its present customers along with Higher value-added parts for each of them. This has been a strong growth factor for the company since many years now.

Achievements in last 3 years

  • Product Diversification

    • Keeping in mind that the company has been working in the Automotive Steering parts family since its inception, we diversified into the automotive axle shaft business (gear shaft) 2 years ago. The company has successfully been able to replace a local supplier of its biggest American customer thereby firmly establishing itself as a reliable partner in this new product category.
    • Our plant in IMT Manesar is spread over 4000 sqmtrs area and is fully automated.
  • New Country Exports Started

    • In its constant effort to exports to new geographical locations, Roop Auto has been successful in entering Poland, Czech Republic in Europe, Brazil in South America and most recent China in Asia. All these customers are OEM based and with the addition of these, the company now exports to all continents of the world.
    • 100% Global Steering System Manufacturers are now Roop Auto’s customers thereby solidifying our “MAKE IN INDIA” dream.
  • Corporate Social Responsibility

    • Roop Automotives Limited has been doing CSR work before it was even called CSR. Since our inception in the early 90s, we have played a vital role in the development of Roz Ka Meo: A highly underdeveloped area of Haryana where the company has its mother plant.
    • To solidify its community presence, we officially launched ROOP VK JAIN FOUNDATION: the company’s CSR arm whose main pillars are Community development, Environment protection and Child Education.
    • Over the last 3 years, we have adopted almost 5000 students in Government Schools where we are providing Teacher Training program, Work book distribution for better learning, Head Master leadership skills development, English and Sports Teachers, Computer and Science Lab. These efforts have been recognized by District authority and state government periodically.
    • Our program with CEQUIN has been appreciated by local women where empowerment and entrepreneurship are being built for their lifestyle improvement.
    • Company’s “Say no To Plastic” Campaign has gained a huge momentum within the organization where in Single-Use plastic has been completely banned from all our premises.
    • Company has been actively involved in vaccination against Covid and awareness to the public at large.
  • Skill India Campaign

    • Through NEEM partnership, the company is skilling the youth in it’s Tamil Nadu plant. We presently employ more than 60 youth wherein we are giving them On Job Training to equip them with technical skills for a better career.
    • Differently Abled People Employment: In it’s IMT Manesar plant, the company has employed more than 20 Differently-abled youth in it’s various operations. This has made our youth confident, bread earners of family and improved self-esteem. The company is really proud of this group of its family members.
  • Financial Excellence

    • Crisil has rated “A” for long term and “A1” for short term.
